I used Antconc on the last practicum, so this time I used Voyant and Lexos. I created a word cloud on Voyant using Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. I was able to access this text on Project Gutenberg.
On Lexos, I created a word cloud using Mary Elizabeth Braddon’s Gerald, or the World, the Felsh and the Devil. This is a text I downloaded from the census mentioned in Practicum 2.
On both of these programs, I do not know how to do much more than creating a word cloud. The graphs and charts were confusing, but I found the word clouds easy to use and understand.
